Six explicit scopes and no "everything" scope. A key holds exactly what you ticked, and a scope added later never widens a key that already exists.

Every key has a name, a property reach, an optional expiry and a request limit. Revoke one and only that integration stops.

A key per system, shown once

Issue a key named after the system that will use it, with the scopes it needs. The key text is shown once, right after you create it, and never again.

  • Named keys so you recognise each integration on the list
  • Optional expiry date; empty means no expiry
  • Request limit per key: 120 per minute as standard, up to 600 on request, capped per IP

Every property, or only the ones you tick

A key can reach every property in your account, including ones created later, or only the properties you select. A partner that serves one hotel never sees the others.

Is the Open API included in my plan?

Yes. API access is included on every Axis Pro plan at no extra cost.

Is there anything you charge for?

Only custom integrations built by our team and traffic above the standard limits. Both are scoped with you before any work starts.

What can a key do?

Exactly the scopes you ticked: read properties, units, availability, rates or bookings, and create bookings. There is no scope that grants everything.

Does bookings:write include reading bookings?

No. Writing and reading are separate scopes. A key that must do both holds both.

Can a key be limited to one property?

Yes. Tick the properties the key may reach. With none ticked it reaches every property in your account, including ones created later.

Can I see the key text again later?

No. The key text is shown once, right after you create it. If it is lost, revoke it and issue a new one.

Do keys expire?

Only if you set an expiry date. Leave it empty and the key stays valid until you revoke it.

What is the request limit?

Each key has a standard limit of 120 requests per minute. Higher limits, up to 600, are available on request, and a per-IP cap applies on top.

Can you build the integration for us?

Yes. Custom integrations are built with our team depending on the business case, using the same scoped keys.

Where is the documentation?

The documentation is public at docs.axispro.travel, with every endpoint, scope and example. You can issue your first key as soon as your account is live.
